'lo there. I was digging around the house for my elementary school records a couple days ago, and I found my "Otis-Lennon test" results. [The "Otis-Lennon Test" (dun, dun, dun...) is used by schools to identify "gifted" children and measure overall student ability.] I scored in the 99th percentile, which according to my research, means that my IQ is at least* 132. Yay! Go me! Another reason for my peers to hate me!! Oh joy! Oh rapture!
* I say "at least" because 132 is the lowest score in the 99th percentile and the paper with my "gifted program" eligibility on it only noted that my O-L Test results were "in the 99th percentile".
Anyhoo, I also found out that the above-mentioned score qualifies me for Mensa. A few months ago, I wasted 20 dollars or more on The Mensa Admissions Test. I was not accepted. Now, NOW, I find out I could have qualified all along.
